Stage Manager
Valerey would like to thank her friends and parents for their encouragement over the years. This is her third year in advanced tech and has been an ASM previously in the fall play Blithe Spirit and last year's musical Bring It On. This will be her first time stage managing a musical and would like to thank the cast and crew for all their support and hard work. She hopes to continue in tech theater and work on more productions in the future.

Freaky Friday is Sanaz’s ninth production at Irvine High. Now a senior, she is so excited to be an ASM for her last production here. She was stage manager for Blithe Spirit and was an ASM for Trois Anneaux and Bring it On! She would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support.

Freaky Friday is Joyce's fifth production at Irvine High. This is her first time as an assistant stage manager. Now a senior, Joyce joined running crew for last year's musical Bring It On. She is also the soprano section leader in the advanced choir Irvine Singers. Joyce would like to thank stage manager Valerey Evans and assistant stage manager Sanaz Homayounieh for giving her the position as ASM. She has been delighted to be a part of Freaky Friday and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

Izzy has been involved in theatre since elementary school. Blithe Spirit was her first show at Irvine High of being an ASM. Izzy has had the pleasure of being a Stage Manager for the production of Into The Woods through the city of Irvine. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and giving her encouragement.

Now a sophomore, Colin is excited to be apart of the running crew for Freaky Friday. Mr. C’s Spooky Musical Hell Dream was his first show he performed in at Irvine High School. Colin has been doing theater since the 7th grade and this is his first year of Tech Theater. In the future, Colin plans on going to UC Davis and studying under wildlife biology and he thanks his parents for all their support since middle school regarding theater.

Freaky Friday is the second production Blake has been a part of in high school. He’s now a senior and 3-year member of the choir program, and is looking forward to the fond memories of this play. He’d like to thank his family and friends for pushing him to be more involved and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

The production of Freaky Friday will be Wesley’s second production in his high school career and he is enthusiastic about working on it. Wesley has already participated in the Blithe Spirit play and is excited to work on the musical. The role of tech and running crew lets Wesley work on his engineering goals. Wesley thanks his parents and family for the support and assistance they constantly give.

Donald Osborn's first performance was his elementary school talent show where he was helping with the spotlight for the show. As a freshman, Donald has a bunch of new options to choose from as a backstage crew member. Now that he has done one semester of Tech Theater, he knows he has an understanding of what goes on backstage and to move everything really smoothly. Donald would like to thank his parents for supporting him and for being a role model to him and to take part in this special experience.

Freaky Friday is Jazmin’s first production here at Irvine High School. As a freshman, this is a first experience and starting point to her interest in theatre. Jazmin would like to thank her sisters and friends for encouraging her to try something new.

Now a junior, Dylan Fox is extremely excited to be a part of Freaky Friday. Filling the role of Set Designer in the previous production, Blithe Spirit, he has been working hard to produce a meaningful set layout that will create a lasting effect on the audience. Dylan joined tech as a freshman but really got into it his sophomore year, working on the sets of Trois Anneaux and Bring It On, and has been following in the footsteps of his brothers ever since. Dylan would like to thank his family for the constant support in all his endeavors. He has really enjoyed working on Freaky Friday and hopes that everyone will enjoy the show!

Jared Agapito is a senior doing his 4th year of Tech Theatre. The shows he has done over the past 4 years are Brighton Beach Memoirs, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet Goes Wrong, Blithe Spirit and the current show Freaky Friday. Jared is excited to be of the last musical of his high school career, in Freaky Friday, Jared is apart of the set, sound, special effects, and running crew.

This is her first year co-leading the paint team, after being part of the team since freshman year. It is also her first year designing the production posters. Freaky Friday is Kiley’s second production at Irvine High School. Kiley was a lead costume designer for Blithe Spirit, and now for Freaky Friday. She hopes that the experiences from high school will help her as she pursues a career in fashion and costume design in college next year. Kiley would like to thank her daughter, Lainey, for being an inspiration and her family for being a great support as she follows her dreams.

Presenting one of this year’s costume heads: Shanni. She is a current senior at Irvine High School and has been part of the theatre family since her junior year. Productions she has worked on include Bring It On, Blithe Spirit, and most recently, Freaky Friday. In the future, she plans to go to college as an international relations major, considering her scholastic experience abroad in Germany, Spain, South Korea, and Japan. Shanni is excited to end her last semester as a high school student.

Sara is absolutely thrilled to be a part of Irvine High School’s stellar production of Freaky Friday. Previously on this stage Sara has played Nautica in Bring it On, Cinderella’s Mother in Into the Woods, and more. Sara is also a head of Irvine’s makeup team. She is so proud of everyone involved with the production and would like to thank her directors for this opportunity, her best friend Beth Motta for being by her side no matter what, and mother for always believing in her.

This is Rachel’s sixth and final production at Irvine High. Taking on the makeup team as a lead this year was a welcome challenge, and Rachel would like to recognize the hard workers in her teams for such a successful year. The IHS Drama Department has revealed new opportunities and skills that Rachel never thought was possible, and looks forward to where this skillset may bring her in the future. She would like to thank all of her friends and family that have allowed her to make it this far.

Now a sophomore, Aubrey has participated in a Young Frankenstein showcase by doing makeup and hair last year. She hopes to someday move to New York and be on Broadway. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Freaky Friday is the third production Eileen is partaking in at Irvine High School. Eileen is now a sophomore and is excited to be helping in this production. She has a hope to continue in tech theatre in the future years of her high school career. Eileen would like to thank her family for supporting this choice she has made.

A transfer to Irvine High, Freaky Friday will be Megha Velmurugan’s second production. Wanting to pursue a successful career in the emerging field, Creative Technology, she stayed in Tech Theater for her second semester. She is excited to be part of the lighting crew again and work on her first Musical. Megha would like to thank her parents, her fellow lighting crew members, and drama members for being a guiding light.

It’s senior year for Jia-Wei Dang, and she is ecstatic to take part in her tenth production at IHS: Freaky Friday. As a four year member of the advanced tech theatre program, she is one of the leading sound technicians and a member of the set team. Jia-Wei has done a variety of jobs throughout tech over the years, and is always open to learning something new. She would like to thank her mom for working with her chaotic schedule in addition to her life. Jia-Wei hopes that the audience enjoys the show and brings some of its meaning into their own lives.

Bella Gibson is the Props Master in Irvine High School’s drama department. She is going into her second year as props master and is thrilled to work on the productions of Blithe Spirit and Freaky Friday. Bella was excited to work on a new musical and problem solve how to make a reusable cake and a breakable hourglass. She hopes you see the effort the props team and her worked on this show.

Freaky Friday is Zahra’s last spring musical at Irvine High School. Now a senior, Zahra has been in technical theater for four years and has worked on previous productions such as Into the Woods and Bring it On. As one of the Heads of House Management and Marketing & Publicity, she has been busy marketing the show, designing the program and shirts, and decorating the lobby with incredible displays. She would like to thank her fellow house manager, Emory, for always listening to her ideas and supporting her in everything. She has truly enjoyed working on Freaky Friday and hopes that the audience enjoys seeing all of the hard work that everyone has put into the show!

Emory is so excited that Freaky Friday will be her final spring musical at Irvine! As a senior, this will be her tenth production as a part of the House/Marketing & Publicity team and second show as lead House Manager. Some notable productions include R&H's Cinderella and Bring It On. She wants to thank fellow house manager, Zahra, for making this journey so much fun and both hope the audience enjoys their designs and ideas. Minh hasn't played any major roles in terms of performances, really only being an usher in one single show. However, Minh has really enjoyed participating in the musical as a live videographer. He hopes everyone enjoys the show!
