Chicago is Sarah's fourth and final musical at Irvine High. She is immensely excited to be playing Velma Kelly and is ready to give it her all! She has also played Meg March in Little Women, Mrs. Luckenbill in Freaky Friday, and Truman Squad Member in Bring It On. She attributes her success and confidence in theatre to her mother and vocal coach since they have always supported her. Sarah hopes to one day be a professional singer and make it all the way to the Broadway stages!
Bethany Womack is 17 years old and a senior at Irvine High school. This is her 3rd musical production at Irvine High. She has played characters such as Gretchen in Freaky Friday, Beth March in Little Women, and now Roxie Hart in Chicago. She wants to give thanks to her mother and grandpa for always supporting and loving her.
Lorenzo is a 18-year-old senior playing Billy Flynn in this year’s production of Chicago. This is Lorenzo’s sixth mainstage production at Irvine High School. Playing characters such as La Cienega in Bring It On, Adam in Freaky friday, Laurie in little women, and Garry in this year's fall play noises off! Lorenzo is so thankful for all the opportunities given by directors in the last four years, and memories given by best friends made in the drama department. Lorenzo is excited to pursue a career in acting
Standy is a Senior here at Irvine High School, and Chicago will be his fourth mainstage show that he will be participating in. Standy is playing Amos Hart and he is super excited to showcase the skills he has acquired from all of the drama classes here at Irvine High! He is super thankful for his cat, Peanut, who endlessly gives him support, and has encouraged him throughout the entirety of his high school drama career. Although he doesn’t want to act on the stage in the future, he is overjoyed at the fact that he was able to make so many lifelong friends while in drama here at Irvine. Standy is so excited for you all to see the show, and he hopes that you all enjoy it!
Cece is a senior and this is her 6th and final mainstage production at Irvine High and 17th mainstage production in total! She loved playing Jo March in Little Women the Musical last year at IHS as well as Natalie in All Shook, Muzzy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Babe Williams in The Pajama Game all through the Musical Theater Academy of Orange County. Cece plans to pursue a life of musical theatre and acting after high school and is committed to New York University's Tisch School of Drama in fall 2022 admission! Lily is pumped to be playing Mary Sunshine in the Irvine High production of “Chicago!” This is their 3rd mainstage production. Her previous credits include Fletcher in “Freaky Friday” and Selsdon in “Noises Off.” She would like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive and encouraging.
Keara is a senior and this is her third production at Irvine High. She has been in ensemble for "Freaky Friday" and "Bring It On"! The performing arts have played a large role during her time in high school and she is currently in advanced drama and a member of Irvine Singers. Shamini is a junior playing Annie in this year’s production of Chicago. This is her third mainstage production, previously playing Belinda in Noises Off and ensemble in Freaky Friday. She would like to thank Cece Labowe, Daniel Corcoran, Jack Han, Keara Mcartney, Lily Matthey, Lorenzo Isacs, and Standy Johnson for supporting her. She wants to especially thank Izzy Barbosa for being the best stage manager to ever exist.
Genevieve is excited to take part in this year's production of Chicago as Liz! This is Genevieve's third mainstage production at Irvine High School. In the past, she has played roles such as Amy March in Little Women and Brooke Ashton in Noises Off! Genevieve has enjoyed the process of production and growing as an actress and dancer, and is thankful for the opportunity. She would like to thank her directors for putting on this beautiful production, her amazing teachers and her supportive friends and family. Chicago is Marie’s fourth musical and tenth production at Irvine High School. Marie played Dotty in the fall production of Noises Off and also was running crew for last year’s production of Little Women. Marie is a senior who is the current Drama Council President and a Cappies Critic. Marie would like to thank their family for all their love and support over the years. Kimberly is a junior at IHS playing Mona in this year’s musical, Chicago. She is in Dance Ensemble and is a dance leader in this production. She has performed in several dance shows as well as in "Freaky Friday". She is grateful for all of her fellow cast members, friends, and family for supporting her.
Nina is a 17-year-old senior in this year’s production of Chicago! This is Her first musical at Irvine High School. Nina is so excited to spend her senior year singing and dancing with her friends for this show. She would like to thank all my friends in drama that pushed me to be apart pf this experience and both of my moms.
As a freshman, this is Abby's first production at Irvine High, and she is thrilled to be a part of such a talented and supportive cast. Abby fell in love with preforming when she played a jellyfish in her elementary school's production of the LIttle Mermaid, and hasn't stopped dreaming of persuing acting since. She feels so grateful for the support of her friends and family, as well as everything the cast, crew and directors have taught her in this experience. She'd like to specifically thank her brother, Ryan, for always believing in her.
Chicago is Tylee's second mainstage play and sixth production at Irvine High School. They played Poppy Norton-Taylor In Noises Off and she has done tech for Freaky Friday and Little Women. Tylee has participated in showcases since her freshman year. She would like to thank everyone for all the support that they have given her and tech for their hard work on this show!
Daniel Corcoran is a junior who will be playing the Judge for Chicago the musical! Chicago will be his 2nd production at Irvine High School, His first being "Freaky Friday" where he starred as Ensemble his freshman year. He would like to thank God for making this happen.
Sriya is a 16 year old junior playing Third Reporter and ensemble in this year’s production of Chicago! Sriya is part of Irvine High’s Canta Bella, the advanced women’s choir, and this is her eighth year in choir. She is a member of the board for IHS Sing For Joy, which is a singing club that carols to the community.
Ryder Harris is thrilled to be a part of the cast of Chicago, This being his 6th IHS Prodcution. His recent roles include Lloyd in Noises Off and John Brooke in Little Women: The Musical. He would like to thank everyone for all the support they have given him.
In his first production ever, 14 year old freshman Piyush Vaishnava is excited to be apart of the ensemble for Chicago! He is very grateful for this opportunity, he remembers being passionate about acting from a young age, always wanting to be a big star in the movies. He wishes to continue performing in the future, and possibly pursue a career in theater.

Ashlynn is an ensemble member in this year’s production of Chicago. A junior at Irvine High, this is her second high school production, including "Freaky Friday" in her freshman year. Ashlynn has been a part of Irvine High’s advanced women’s choir Canta Bella for three years, and belongs to several other singing groups on campus. She has been honored to work with this year’s amazing cast and form closer relationships with many of them. Ashlynn would like to especially thank her family for their patience and support throughout this production.
Alisha Zuberi is a sophomore and this is her first production at Irvine High School! She is a member of the ensemble in this production. Alisha enjoys singing and dancing in her free time. She is thankful to her parents, cat, and cast mates for being supportive and encouraging.
Quinn is a 15 year old sophomore playing Harrison in this years production of Chicago. This is her first production at Irvine High School! She’s extremely excited and grateful for everything and the journey of being in her first show has shown her. In the future if possible she’d like to go into the world and business of acting for TV and Movies.

Chicago is Izzy’s 7th production at Irvine high school! She has been in the running crew for Freaky Friday and was an ASM for Blithe Spirit. This is her second year stage managing a main stage show, her first being Little Women and second being Noises Off! This is Izzy’s third year being publicity manager and she is also the lead cappie critic for her department. As it is her senior year she is so excited to work her hardest and put in her all for her last year at IHS. Izzy would love to thank her wonderful cast and crew for being so supportive of her throughout the years.
Chicago is Donald’s 6th production here at Irvine High School. Now a Junior, Donald has worked running crew for Blithe Spirit and Freaky Friday. As the lighting designer of Chicago, Donald is proud that he has this opportunity to take a big step in his career in the theater industry. Donald would like to thank his parents for supporting him and encouraging him to keep pursuing his love for technical theater.
Chicago is Geandra’s fourth production at IHS! She has been the sound board operator for Little Women and did sound design & microphones for Blithe Spirit. Geandra is excited to be back in tech and work her hardest and have fun!
Ash is a senior in advanced tech theater. He has constructed sets for multiple shows in the past. He helped build the set for Blithe Spirit his sophomore year, and worked hard on the set for Noises Off this year. He would like to say that he can drive a 3 in screw into a 2 by 4, Hakuna Matata!
Costume Designer, Makeup/hair, ASM
Danika has been in theatre for three years now, and Chicago marks their fourth Irvine High production. For this show, she is the Head of Costuming, Hair and Makeup, and an Assistant Stage Manager. In the past, Danika has done tech for "Little Women" and "Noises Off". In her free time, Danika likes to create, whether that's with fashion, digital art, painting, or building.
Tyler is a freshman in his second semester of tech theater. This is his second production at Irvine, with Noises Off as his first, where he worked in the properties team. He would like to send thanks to his family and friends.
The production play of Chicago will be Wesley’s fifth production in his high school career and he is enthusiastic about working on it. Wesley has already participated in the Blithe Spirit play and Freaky Friday as well as Little Women and Noises Off. The role of Projections lead allows Wesley to flex his graphic design and technology skills. Wesley thanks his parents and family for the support and assistance they constantly give.
Pihu has been in Tech Theater for three years. Pihu is currently a senior at Irvine. Chicago is Pihu's third mainstage production at Irvine High. She ran Q-Lab for Little Women last Spring, she also ran mics for the Showcase: Rise Up. She was the House Manager for Noises Off this past fall. She is currently House Manager. She would like to thank Izzy and Emily for always supporting her for the last three years in tech. Pihu is excited to see how the show comes together on opening night and see the casts' hard work come to life.
Costume Design, Makeup/hair
First year in tech as well as high school, Heidee is committed to give a helping hand to others in need. For the last show, Noises Off, she was part of the house team. Now, she is in costumes, ready to help and learn. She would like to thank her family for the support of pursuing her own dreams.
Chicago is Adi's second production at Irvine High School! This is his first time working on costumes, which he is very excited about. Previously, he had worked on the properties team during the production of Noises Off. He is very happy to be following in the footsteps of his sister, who was also in tech theatre at Irvine High. Adi would like to thank his family, friends, and the amazing crew for their continued support.
This is Natalie second year in technical theater. She has been in Little Woman, and Noise Off. In Little Woman she was a spot light operator and electrician. In Noise Off she was sound board operator. This year for the Chicago she is apart of the house team! Natalie has been enjoying her 2 years in tech and can't wait for more!
Zehra is a hardworking member of set, and is always looking forward to help out with the productions at Irvine. Chicago is her second production. She is always looking to be helpful towards her fellow classmates, whether they are in set or another team. She is looking forward to working and being apart of tech for the rest of her high school life. She'd like to thank her members and teacher for being committed and motivating her for a better community and showcase. She is inspired and influenced by these memories that she will cherish forever.
Properties Team
Emily is a senior who has been involved in Irvine High School Theatre Arts all throughout her time at Irvine High School. For the productions of Freaky Friday, Blither Spirit, and Noises off she was on the paint team. She finishes her time at Irvine High School working with the props team on Chicago. Emily would like to thank the cast and crew for making everything possible.
Chicago is Twig's 2nd production at Irvine high school. They did props and running crew for Noises Off! Twig is excited for their first musical production in costumes, and to expand their experience and skill in theater. They would like to thank the crew, and their family for being cool.
Chicago is Rhianna’s first production to be a part of at Irvine High School! Ever since they were little they wanted to help and be a part of musicals and plays. Although they’ve seen many musicals and plays, they've never been a part of helping out so they're very excited. Since it’s her first time, she hopes she can help out as much as she can in any way to make the play the best it can be!
Karen is a junior and this is her first year in tech theater. Chicago is Karen's second production at IHS. She was in the paint crew for Noises Off, now she is apart of the properties team. She enjoys working with her team. She hopes the audience would enjoy the show.
Assistant Stage Manager, Properties Team
Chicago is Tussneem’s first production in IHS she is a junior this is her first year on tech theatre. She used to be in creative drama and during the production of Noises Off she assisted the running crew. For Chicago she is working with the scenic team and helps out with being an assisant stage manager. She is so glad She joined and Is looking forward to what she can learn and experience as well what she have to offer and achieve in this class.
Chicago is Erisa’s 2nd show at Irvine! The first show she worked on was Noises Off, where she was apart of the Paint Crew. She is in the props team for this production. she would like to thank everyone who has supported her.
Chicago is Iris' 2nd production at IHS, her first one being Noises Off! Iris is beyond thrilled to be apart of Chicago, her first musical production. This will be Iris' first time being an ASM and is beyond thrilled! Iris worked in costumes previously, and is continuing on with it. She hopes she can successfully do her job, and she looks forward to doing this more in the future!
Taiwo is a very bright young spirit ready to make sure Irvine High reaches it’s full potential with sound. This is his second year in tech theatre from first working on Little Women to now working on Chicago. Taiwo doesn’t really have a preferred role he’s willing to help everyone. Taiwo is very thankful for everyone, including our director, for all the work they've done for this amazing production. He's excited for more great productions to come about.
Scenic Design
Chicago is Wynston's first production at Irvine High School! It is also his first time being part of the production of a show. It is his first year in set and he has had no prior experience. He would like to thank his friends and family for always supporting him.
Jovanny is a sophomore at Irvine High, and this is his second year in the IHS Theatre Department. Along with Chicago, Jovanny has been a scenic designer for Little Women, and Noises Off. He also has worked as an Assistant Stage Manager for Noises Off. He would like the thank his friends for all their moral support.
Chicago is Syarra’s second production at IHS and she couldn’t be happier! Syarra is a sophomore and this is her first year tech. Syarra was apart of the house team last semester and is now apart of props. Syarra is dedicated to making this show the best it can be and she is super excited for all to see it. She loves tech and is exited for the future tech holds for her.
Chicago is Taylor’s first and only production at Irvine High. Taylor joined tech theater to get experience and understand what goes on behind the scenes of the extravagant plays held at IHS. In Taylor’s free time she reads, writes and loves to hang out with family and friends. As a senior, she is trying to spend as much time as she can with everyone before they depart after gradation. Although this will be the only play she gets to work on, she is grateful to have had an opportunity to join this class and meet new students and participate in creating this set!
Sound Design
This is Chris’ first year working in tech theater, and is working on sound for the Chicago production. They're very eager to meet new people and to get to know the experience. They joined tech theater for the semester and are working hard to understand the all the different kinds of equipment.
Jaden Temple Savill is in 10th grade of Irvine High. He delt with the lights on the lighting board for Noises Off, now Chicago: The Musical. At first, he thought that his experience with the lighting board was really fun for the last play, and now it is getting really complicated because of Chicago! This is his first time dealing with working on a Musical! Jadenn would like to give all of oh his thanks to his parents for supporting him throughout his 10th grade year in Tech and he loves them with all of his heart so much. This will be an amazing show for everybody and everyone to enjoy. Have a great time watching Chicago: The Musical!
Arina joined tech this year previously helping with the school production of Noises Off. She has been apart of running crew and scenic design. Arina is a sophomore who is excited to help whenever she can. Chicago will be her first musical production at IHS. Arina is excited to see what the cast and crew bring to the table.
Chicago is Zak’s second production at Irvine High. He has a passion for working in set, and is always looking to offer a helping hand. He still a lot to learn, since he is only a freshmen, but he’s really excited. He is looking forward for the productions for years to come, and can't wait to see what sets the whole team has envisioned.
House Team, Scenic Design
Chicago is Haajar’s first ever production experience in Irvine High School. Through the realm of creative drama, she discovered technical theater and decided to explore the chaotic, and exciting, world of creation and imagination. Since she’s only a freshman and just started her first semester of technical theater, Haajar’s planning on making it a great rest of the year and hopes that she won't accidentally injure herself with the table saw or drills.
Chicago is Raha's second show here at Irvine High School. She was a member of the costumes crew for Irvine's last production, Noises Off. Raha will continue to be apart of the costumes crew for Chicago. She is excited to be take part in the tech theatre program for the next three years at IHS. Raha would like to thank her crew for all of the effort they have put into designing this show.
Chicago is Kelvin’s 2nd production at Irvine High School. Starting his involvement tech theater during his junior year, Kelvin has spent the last two years assisting the tech heads with various jobs, such as lighting, costumes, and set design. During Kelvin’s first production “Little Women,” he played a supporting role in constructing and preparing IHS’s amphitheater for the production. Being his last year at Irvine, Kelvin is excited to bring Chicago successfully to theaters. Kelvin wishes the crew and cast their best as they continue to do amazing work throughout the years.
This is Jayden's first show at IHS! They are so excited to be apart of Chicago and has enjoyed building the set. They would like to thank all the support everyone has given them.
Clarinet
Allen Weng is a junior who plays B flat and E flat clarinet. He is currently a member of Wind Symphony and has played clarinet since fourth grade. Allen would like to thank Mr. V for the various fun opportunities in music he has provided this year and is excited to continue his high school music career.
Amy is currently a senior at Irvine and has been playing cello for eight years. This is her first show with pit orchestra. She would like to thank all of her directors, teachers, and peers for their continuous support and is ecstatic for you to watch the show.
Caleb has been in band for 4 years - 2 years in Symphonic Band and 2 years in Wind Symphony. He is currently first chair, and has been first chair as a freshman and sophomore in Symphonic Band. He has also been in Marching band for 4 years, holding the section leader position as a junior and senior. Chicago is Caleb's first ever musical, and since he absolutely, extremely, and deeply loves listening to jazz, he is extraordinarily excited to play and perform well.
As a junior at Irvine High, this is Derek’s first year participating in a musical. He plays piano, piccolo, and glockenspiel in the pit orchestra, and is looking forward to seeing how “Chicago” turns out. Most of all, Derek is excited to see what sort of experience it will become, and would like to thank his friends for encouraging his pursuit of music.
Baritone Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone
This is Erin's first show and they were excited to join pit. Erin has played Bari sax since middle school and still enjoys playing to this day. They would like to say, "I need to pee!"
Ethan has been in Wind Symphony for four years and Jazz 1 for three years. Chicago is his first musical at Irvine High. Ethan first played the music from Chicago in 7th grade and is excited to perform it again as a senior.
Hannah has been part of the school orchestra ensemble since freshman year, and marching band since sophomore year. Currently she is the concertmaster of Phil orchestra, and she is part of jazz. Joining pit ensemble this year is her first year, so this is her first show! She would like to thank Mr Venlet for convincing her to join, and her friends for making it a fun experience!
Kathleen is currently a senior at Irvine High and has been in band all four years of high school. She is a member of Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble. This is her first musical. Kathleen has always wanted to be apart of the musical and is very excited to perform alongside her exceptionally talented peers.
Violin
Koda is a junior and she has been playing the violin for 11 years. She has attended Orange County School of the Arts for 3 years in the Strings & Orchestra Conservatory. She has done ensemble for OCSA’s musical, Sweet Charity.
Rachel has played the double bass in the pit orchestra for 3 years and is currently in both Philharmonic Orchestra and Wind Symphony. She has been in the shows “Bring It On,” “Freaky Friday” and now “Chicago.” Rachel is very proud of how much time and effort the pit has put into the show and is excited to share great music with everyone.
Ryan is a sophomore this year, and is playing the violin in the pit. Ryan has played for several honor groups in the past, but he hasn’t played in a musical yet, so he is excited for this new experience!
Sarah has played trumpet for seven years and has been part of jazz and marching band at Irvine High. She has not been able to play in the pit yet but is super excited for this production. Sarah can’t wait to see how it come together and has loved getting to know the pit, cast, and crew.
Trumpet, Piano
So is currently in wind symphony and the jazz 1 ensemble. He is a piano and trumpet player. He share played the trumpet since freshman year and the piano since many years ago. He would like to thank Mr. V for giving him many exciting opportunities through his high school music career.
Tara is a member of Jazz I and Wind Symphony. This is her first production, and Chicago is her favorite musical. She’d like to thank the marching band’s saxophone section.
Tiffany is a fourth-year member in the Irvine music program. Her primary instruments for the Chicago musical are the soprano sax, alto sax, and flute. She would like to thank Mr. A and Mr. V for the past four years in high school music, and special shout out to her soprano pal Tara for her support. Tiffany is thrilled to be a part of this production, hope you enjoy!
Tim is a senior at Irvine High and has been playing cello for 8 years. Although he has been in the top orchestral ensemble for all four years this is his first musical in the pit orchestra. Tim is very grateful for everyone who has helped him along the way including mentors, parents, and peers. Overall, Tim and the rest of the pit orchestra can't wait for you to enjoy their hard work come to fruition in this production. Enjoy!

Yoni has been in the music department for all four years of high school. This is his first musical at IHS but is extremely excited to be apart of this amazing production. Yoni is so excited to get to be a part of Chicago and see the cast hard work come together to produce an amazing show.
