Blithe Spirit is Sanaz’s eighth production at Irvine High. This is her second show as Stage Manager. Now a senior, she was the SM for Mr. C’s Spooky Musical Hell Dream and was an ASM for Trois Anneaux and Bring it On! She looks forward to her last year here!
Valerey would like to thank her parents for their encouragement over the years. This is her third year in advanced tech and has been an ASM previously in the last years fall play Trois Anneaux and the musical Bring It On. She hopes to continue in tech theater and work on more productions in the future.
Izzy has been involved in theatre since elementary school. Blithe Spirit is her first show of being an ASM which she is excited for. Izzy has had the pleasure of being a Stage Manager for the production of through city of Irvine. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and giving her encouragement.
Now a junior, Dylan Fox is extremely excited to be a part of Blithe Spirit. Filling the role of Set Designer this year, he has been working hard to produce a meaningful set layout that will create a lasting effect on the audience. Dylan joined tech as a freshman but really got into it his sophomore year, working on the sets of Trois Anneaux and Bring It On and has been following in the footsteps of his brothers ever since. Dylan would like to thank his family for the constant support in all his endeavors. He has really enjoyed working on Blithe Spirit, and hopes that everyone will have a memorable experience while enjoying the show!
Blithe Spirit is Rishabh’s first production here at Irvine High School. As a freshman, this is all very new to Rishabh as he has no past experience in theater. Rishabh is very optimistic as it may open a new career path he would be interested in doing later on in his life. Rishabh would like to thank his parents for the constant support in whatever he chooses to do.
Greg is very excited to be apart of the set crew for Blithe Spirit. This is his first year working in tech theatre.
Aidan is very excited to be apart of the set crew for Blithe Spirit. This is her second year working in tech theatre.
Bobby is extremely proud of the work he put in behind the scenes as a tech theater student. Now a junior, this will be Bobby’s second production in tech theater. He enjoys all the hands on work with power tools and the feeling of accomplishment when the set and show are complete. In addition he enjoys the friendships he gained.
Blithe Spirit is Rachel's third production, and final play, in Advanced Technical Theater. It is her first production as Co-Lead of the Makeup Team, and she is incredibly grateful for the diligence and passion her team has brought forth. She is also apart of the set crew and has been working hard to make the set come to life. She would like to thank her family for supporting her through the last few months.
Blithe Spirit is Ash's second production and first production in advanced tech here at Irvine High School. He has previously worked on Trois Anneaux. He is excited to work on the set construction team this coming year. He is also excited to work on and apply his woodworking knowledge to the set. He wishes the best to all the performers and hopes for a successful show.
Jared has been doing tech theatre for 4 years, and has been enjoying every single year of it. His first production was Cinderella, where he was apart of creating special effects. His second production was Julio and Romiet, where he was also apart of special effects. Blithe Spirit is the latest production, where he did scenic design and helped with sound design. He would like to thank all of his friends and family for supporting him and hope that they will continue to do so throughout the years.
Now a senior, Blithe Spirit is one of the various productions Audrey has been apart of at Irvine High School. This is her first year co-leading the paint team, after being part of the team since freshman year. Audrey has also been working with the marketing and publicity team to create the show poster. She has had the opportunity to be apart of multiple Irvine High productions. She also hopes the audience enjoys the efforts involved in the show.
Now in her third year of Tech, Manni is excited to start her senior year with the production of Blithe Spirit. She is a second year member of paint crew and has painted for shows such as Trois Anneaux and Bring It On. Manni hopes you’ll be captivated by the world of Blithe Spirit.
Emily has been involved in a few productions throughout her school experience. One of the productions being Mr C’s Musical Hell Dream. Emily’s love for theatre started in elementary school when she helped out with Willy Wonka Junior and The Little Mermaid Junior. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her.
Currently a senior, Shanni is this year’s co-head of the costume design team. Blithe Spirit is Shanni’s third production at Irvine High School, the other two being Trois Anneaux and Bring It On. She is excited for the remaining year and would like to thank everyone who has worked on this production- cast and crew- to make Blithe Spirit a successful and memorable work. She hopes to see you at the musical!
Blithe Spirit is Kiley’s first show at Irvine High School. She is very excited to showcase the costumes that she worked hard on this year. As a senior, Kiley plans to pursue a career in fashion and costume design through attending college at FIDM. Kiley would also like to thank her daughter, Lainey, for being her inspiration and her family for supporting her.
Blithe Spirit is Taylor’s first production at Irvine High. She joined the Tech Theater Program as a beginning tech member as a sophomore. Now in her junior year she joined the costume team in advanced tech. While spending time with the costume team she learns many skills that will help her pursue a degree in Costuming. Taylor would like to thank her family for all their love and support for her during the years.
Najma is one of the costumer designers at IHS. She will use her creativity in creating her own business for designing clothes as a passion for herself. This is her first year in tech theatre and she has learned a lot of new stuff about how to create and come up with different types of techniques about designing old clothes and turning them into a masterpiece.
Ali is in Advanced Tech Theater. This is the first production she has worked on with the rest of the Costume Crew. She is looking forward to helping out with further productions.
Now a senior, Evangeline is thrilled to be a part of Blithe Spirit. As Makeup Team, she has been working hard on designing with her fellow members. Evangeline joined Tech her senior year and had done Drama her freshman and sophomore year, and has been improving on both makeup technique and acting. She hopes to further her makeup skills in order to pursue a possible career in makeup design. Evangeline would like to thank Mr. Kyle Brooks Chittenden for allowing her to be in Advanced Tech. She has really enjoyed working on Blithe Spirit, and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Riley is very excited to be on the makeup team for Blithe Spirit. The first show she was apart of was Cinderella, she then went on to do makeup for Into The Woods. She was able to make the trees come to life by creating bark molds out of liquid latex. Riley is very happy to have her mother to support her.
Blithe Spirit is the second production Eileen is partaking in at Irvine High School. Eileen is now a sophomore and is excited to be a bigger part in a production. She has a hope to continue in tech theatre in the future years of her high school career. Eileen would like to thank her family for supporting this choice she has made.
Blithe Spirit is Priscilla’s first production at Irvine High School. As a freshman, Priscilla has learned how to use many parts of the lighting board. Priscilla is excited to see what kind of opportunities will be open now that she knows how to use the lighting board. Priscilla would love to thank her parents for supporting through everything.
A transfer to Irvine High, Blithe Spirit will be Megha Velmurugan’s first production. Wanting to pursue a successful career in the emerging field, Creative Technology, she entered tech theater. She is excited to get her firsthand experience as part of the lighting crew. Megha would like to thank her parents, her fellow lighting crew members, and drama members for being a guiding light.
Now a senior, Jia-Wei Dang continues to pursue her passion for technical theatre. As the Technical Director, she is responsible for keeping the other groups on schedule and a second runner up behind the set designer. Jia-Wei joined tech her freshman year, and was the house manager until her junior year. Jia-Wei would especially like to thank Mr. C and the rest of tech for their support and dedication to the show. She has truly enjoyed working on Blithe Spirit as it is her ninth show with IHS drama. Jia-Wei hopes that the audience enjoys seeing all of the hard work that everyone has put into the show!
Blithe Spirit is Geandra’s first production at Irvine High School. Starting as a freshman, Geandra is very ecstatic about her first performance production doing sound. Her brother (a former graduate of Irvine High School) highly encouraged her to do tech theater, and she is happily taking the experience in.
Bella Gibson is the Props Master in Irvine High School’s drama department. She is going into her second year as props master and is thrilled to work on the productions of Blithe Spirit and Freaky Friday. Bella was excited to finally work on a period piece and has worked very hard to make it as visually interesting and accurate as possible. She hopes you can see the effort her and her team put into the production value of Blithe Spirit.
This is Sophie’s first show as an advanced tech member. She is really excited to be a part of the props department this year, as it is a shift from her start in house crew. Sophie is thankful to Isabella Gibson and Sydney Schabilion for making tech so fun. Sophie looks forward to a fun year in tech.
This is Sydney’s first production with Irvine High School. She’d like to thank Jenna Doherty, Sophie Hobbs and Bella Gibson for inspiring her to join tech theater. She is so grateful to her friends in the props department for making class so fun every day. She had an amazing time working on Blithe Spirit and can’t wait to see what the rest of this year has to offer.

Emory is so excited that Blithe Spirit will be her final fall production at Irvine! Now a senior, this will be her ninth production as a part of the House/Marketing & Publicity team and first show as lead House Manager. Some of her favorite shows she has worked on are R&H Cinderella and Trois Anneaux. She has been working hard designing the lobby with incredible displays. She has enjoyed working with fellow House Manager, Zahra, on making the show come to life and both hope the audience enjoys their designs and ideas. Blithe Spirit is Zahra’s ninth production at Irvine High School. Now a senior, Zahra has been in Tech Theater for four years and has worked on previous productions such as Into the Woods and Bring it On. As one of the Heads of House Management and Marketing and Publicity, she has been busy marketing the show and decorating the lobby with incredible displays. She would like to thank her co-house manager, Emory, for always listening to her ideas and supporting her in everything. She has truly enjoyed working on Blithe Spirit and hopes that the audience enjoys seeing all of the hard work that everyone has put into the show!
Blithe Spirit is Ali’s first production here at Irvine High School. He is a freshman and looking forward to this experience. Ali is apart of the House/Publicity team with Zahra and Emory. He would like to thank his parents for the support.
Now a sophomore, Colin is excited to be a part of the running crew for Blithe Spirit. Mr. C’s Spooky Musical Hell Dream was his first show he performed in at Irvine High School. Colin has been doing theater since the 7th grade and this is his first year of Tech Theater. He plans on going to UC Davis and studying under wildlife biology. He thanks his parents for all their support since middle school regarding theater.
The production play of Blithe Spirit will be Wesley’s first production in his high school career and he is enthusiastic about working on it. As a freshman he is excited to begin working with theater and drama as a whole. With some experience as an actor (Credits: Lucifer) and model for LA Models, but little in theater, he hopes to gain experience in productions as a whole. As for future plans, Wesley hopes to enter college for business or technology but believes that theater can help him in all aspects of his future career. Wesley thanks his parents and family for the support and assistance they constantly give.
Blithe Spirit is Joyce's fourth production at Irvine High. As a running crew member, she has been preparing to move all sorts of props and set pieces on cue for the production. Now a senior, Joyce joined running crew for last year's musical Bring It On. She is also the soprano section leader in the advanced Irvine Singers. Joyce would like to thank stage manager Sanaz Homayounieh for inviting her to be a part of technical theatre. She has been delighted to be a part of Blithe Spirit and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Blithe Spirit is the first production Blake has been a part of in high school. He’s now a senior and 3-year member of the choir program, and is looking forward to the fond memories of this play. He’d like to thank his family and friends for pushing him to be more involved and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Donald Osborn's first performance was his elementary school talent show where he was helping with the spotlight for the show. As a freshman, Donald has a bunch of new options to choose from as a backstage crew member. The role of a backstage crew member reflects the happiness that Donald can bring to the audience. Donald would like to thank his parents for supporting him and for being a role model to him and to take part in this special experience.
